I got to conduct Jubilate’s girl’s group song. It was an amazing experience to be able to use the techniques I just learned in my conducting class. It was also an honor that Mrs. Santana let me conduct one of the pieces they were doing.

Funny or strange personal story or experience:

When my mom and I were staying at our house in Catawissa, Pennsylvania to visit friends, we were both getting ready to sit down and eat our dinner. I looked outside the window and whispered, “Oh my gosh, there are two medium-sized black bears walking up the lane.” We just watched them walk across the yard like this was normal. When they were gone I said, “I guess they must have smelled our food from the window being open.” The funny part was when we went in the woods later that day we saw a mama black bear and her baby cub which was a bit scary.
