Arrive about 15-20 minutes early to fill out audition forms (audition forms will be available here in April , pdf link, please feel free to bring completed form to your audition).

Arrive with a song prepared 1 min to 1.5 minutes in length.  You will be stopped after 1.5 minutes.

Appropriate audition song examples:
Any Disney songs (From film or Broadway productions)

Examples (but not limited to):
When You Wish Upon a Star,  A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes,  Bare Necessities,  When I see an Elephant Fly,  Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Colors of the Wind, Spoonful of Sugar, God Help the Outcasts, You’ve Got a Friend in Me, Everybody Wants To Be a Cat,  I’ve Got No Strings, etc.

Songs from other musicals
I Enjoy Being a Girl, Goodnight My Someone,  In My Own Little Corner,  Puttin’ On the Ritz,  All I Need Is the Girl,  Notice Me Horton,  The Candy Man, Where is Love, Do-re-mi, Maybe, My Favorite Things, Oh What a Beautiful Morning

Choose a song appropriate for your age and vocal range. The audition panel is listening for a clear, healthy voice singing in tune and watching for lots of personality and expression. Make the most of your minute and a half!

(please note that pop, rock, country or contemporary Christian songs are not recommended for this audition. These styles tend to be unhelpful for the audition panel for casting purposes.)

Bring an accompaniment track (without vocals) on CD or your phone with the auxiliary cord. There is no live accompanist provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. A piano is available.

After the vocal auditions are complete, you will be taught a very short basic movement/dance routine.  Bring closed toe shoes for this portion. This process helps the audition panel assess coordination, cooperation and musicality.

After the movement audition, those interested in speaking roles will be asked to read short scenes from the musical script. If you are only interested in being a part of the ensemble, you do not need to stay for this portion of the audition process.
