Favorite story from your musical experience:
My favorite musical experience has to be when I was preparing for my senior recital. I and some of my friends had a game we would play called the distraction game. In it, you would go through your full repertoire for the recital while ignoring any distractions your friends could come up with. In this particular rehearsal, one friend pretended to talk on the phone, another ran around the stage making loud noises, and the third sat on the bench right next to me talking to me. It was pretty hilarious and I had to struggle to keep a composed expression and to not fall off the bench laughing. I endured 15 minutes of their shenanigans that day.
Funny or strange personal story or experience:
When I first entered Temple College’s music program, there was a time I and my classmates left our morning music literature class and beheld quite a strange sight. Heads down, a group of classmates were walking down the hall slowly singing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” in a Gregorian chant style, and in minor. I still have no idea what prompted this event and none of us made it to our next class on time that day.
